PTFE
GFL has set-up a world class manufacturing facility of granular
polytetrafluoroethylene resin at Dahej, India in 2007. The plant
has a capacity of 5,500 metric tons per annum and produces a variety
of granular PTFE resins. GFL is marketing PTFE resins under the
brand name INOFLON™ .
PTFE production is the logical forward
integration of GFL’s existing fluorine based refrigerants
business. Production timing of PTFE has been selected in response
to the growing needs of domestic and overseas markets for high quality
granular polytetrafluoroethylene.
