Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd.,is a leading
manufacturer & exporter of Chloro-Fluorocarbon refrigerant
gases R-12 & R-22. These grades are manufactured in technical
collaboration with M/s Pennwalt Corporation USA (now Atochem,
North America), under the "Refron" brand name. Along
with CFC & HCFC, GFL also supplies & exports new genre
gases in 400 & 500 series. An ISO 9001: 2000 company, GFL
is considered as one of the most reliable manufacturers of refrigerant
gases (India, being allowed to produce CFC-12 until 2010 and HCFC-22
until 2040 as per the Montreal Protocol regulations). With an
installed capacity of over 18000 TPA, GFL has successfully marketed
its brand “REFRON” to over 75 countries worldwide
for the past 15 years. We have built a sound reputation worldwide,
as a reliable supplier of refrigerants along internationally accepted
quality norms and supply our products both in bulk as well as
disposable cylinders.
Equipped with new generation manufacturing framework quality control
and adequate storage facilities, GFL has already made its mark
in the competitive & quality conscious OEM & refilers
segments. Majority of our supplies are oriented towards leading
OEMs & refilers across the globe.
GFL’s products are marketed under the “REFRON”
brand and is popularly known by this brand name in the overseas
markets. Our products are widely used in refrigerators, air-conditioners,
as propellants for aerosols and as blowing agent for Polyurethane
Foam production.
We are the only Refrigerant gas producer who is backed up with
an 100% export oriented unit for manufacturing disposable cylinders
of various capacities as per international standards especially
for the export markets. This unit, with its state-of-the -art
manufacturing facilities, is already accredited with international
DOT 39 & EN standards. Before leaving the factory premises,
each cylinder undergoes rigorous inspection as per stringent international
norms by the Indian affiliates of Bureau Veritas of France.
In line with its expansion plans, GFL is considering to enter
the more eco-friendly domain of CFC free refrigerants segment
comprising of 404A, 407C, 410A. It has made a beginning with 134A,
which is being aggressively marketed along with the other bouquet
of products, since production and consumption of CFC 11 &
12 are under the phase out schedule by 2010 and HCFC-22 by 2040
under the Montreal protocol regulations.
GFL is also exploring various other avenues including expansion
plans for it’s manufacturing facilities and is currently
negotiating with various global entities for technical know to
expand its product range.
